Ariselu Sweets Ingredients
▪Rice - 500gm
▪Jaggery - 400gm
▪Oil
▪ Ghee
▪Sesame SEEDS -2 tablespoons
▪Poppy seeds 2 tablespoons
▪Puri presser
▪Jaggery - 400gm

{Soak rice in water for 4 hours, drain the water and grind the wet rice in to fine powder}
Procedure
◆ Place a pan on flame and add 400gm of jaggery and half glass of water.
◆ Boil the jaggery till it becomes light syrup. {To know whether the light syrup is done or not , take a small bowl with water and add syrup, if it forms solid in it, then it is done , if it is soluble in water then boil for few more minutes }
◆ When the syrup is done add 2 tablespoons of ghee and 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, mix well and put off the flame and transfer the fine rice powder in to the jaggery syrup and mix thoroughly.
◆ Now make small balls of cherry size and press in to small puries with puri presser.
◆ Place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry, when oil heats, fry them on low flame till the colour changes in to golden brown colour.
◆ These Arisalu can be preserved fresh for 15 days.
◆ If interested sprinkle poppy seeds when arisalu are hot sò that they will stick to it.
