Ingredients
▪ Bengal gram flour ( senagapindi ) - 2 cups▪ Mirchi powder
▪ Salt
▪ Baking soda
▪ Oil
▪ Curry leaves
▪ Garlic -5-6
PROCEDURE
◆ Take a bowl and add 2 cups of Bengal gram flour ( senagapindi ), pinch of baking soda, enough salt,2 tablespoons of mirchi powder and mix well adding water and make batter like dosa batter.
◆ Place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry, now take a strainer and pour the batter and fry the boondi, repeat the process with the remaining batter.
◆ Fry till the boondi becomes crispy, no need of colour change.
◆ Now fry curry leaves in the same oil,small cup of ground nut and mix in the fried boondi and mix well.
◆ Now crush 5-6 garlic pieces with 1 tablespoon of mirchi powder and add to boondi, which adds flavour to boondi and also good for health.
◆ Now karam boondi is ready ,which remains fresh for 1 week.
