Palak paneer curry| Palak Paneer Recipes
◆ paneer -250gm
◆ Spinach -6 bunches
◆ Green chillies - 50gm
◆ Cashews -20gm
◆ Whole gram masala
◆ Garam masala powder
◆ Garlic
◆ Salt
◆ Turmeric powder

◆ Ginger garlic paste
(Finely chop the garlic in to small pieces (8 - 10),
Grind spinach in to a fine paste, cut paneer in to small blocks, grind cashews in to fine paste adding water, grind green chillies in to fine paste, keep all these things prepared before you start the procedure. )
◆ Place a pan and add oil for deep fry, then fry the paneer till the colour changes to golden yellow colour and keep aside.
◆ Place a pan on flame and pour 4-5 tablespoons of oil, add a teaspoon of mustard and jeera.Now add finely chopped garlic pieces,1/4 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste,green chillies paste , curry leaves and whole gram masala , let it cook for few minutes.
◆ Now add the above prepared spinach paste and cook till the raw smell escapes out. (Do not close lid while cooking this curry as the green colour of the spinach is lost)
◆ Now add cashews paste ,mix well,add enough salt and let it cook for 5 minutes. {Add less salt as spinach contains salt in it}
◆ Now add a small glass of water and mix well to get gravy consistency and cook for 2 minutes, then transfer the above fried paneer cubes in to the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
◆ When the oil spills out,add 2 tablespoons of garam masala powder, mix well,off the flame, transfer in to a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
Good combination with paratha, veg fried rice.
