Palli chikki with Jaggery in Telugu

Palli chikki,Pea Nut Chikki, Ground Nut chikki It is a famous Sweet, is made with Jaggery and Pea nuts

Palli Chikki Ingredients

▪ Ground nut -1cup
▪ Jaggery - 1cup
▪ Ghee

Pappu Chekka Procedure


◆ Place a pan on flame and add 1cup of ground nut and roast till the colour changes to light brown.
◆ let it cool down, then remove the outer layer of ground nuts and crush them with a rolling pin.
◆ Now place a pan on flame and add 1cup of jaggery and pour small half glass of water and boil till it forms thick syrup, ( to know that the syrup is done,take a small bowl with water and add syrup, if it forms solid in water then thick syrup is done, if not boil for few more minutes}
◆ Now transfer the above roasted ground nuts and mix thoroughly, then spread ghee on a flat tray and transfer the above mixture on to the tray.
◆ let it cool down, then cut in to blocks, now healthy palli chikki is ready .
