Pappu palakalu ( Andhra sweet )
◆ Roasted dal {putnalu}-2 cups
◆ Sugar -1cup
◆ Ghee - 2 tablespoons
◆ cardamom powder -1 tablespoon
◆ Dry grated coconut -1/2 cup
{Grind roasted dal (putnalu )2 cups in to fine powder }
◆ Place a pan on flame and add 1cup of sugar and small glass of water and boil till it forms sticky.
◆ Now add 2 tablespoons of ghee, 1/2 cup of grated coconut powder, 1 tablespoon of cardamom powder and mix well.
◆ Now add the above powdered roasted dal powder and stir continously to avoid lumps, when it is completely mixed,put off the flame and transfer on to a plate on which ghee is spread equally.
◆ Let it cool down, then cut in to blocks and serve.
