Mamidikaya nuvvulu pachadi

Ingredients

◆ Raw mango pieces - 1 bowl
◆ Sesame seeds powder -1 cup
◆ Mustard powder - 1 teaspoon
◆ Jeera - 1 teaspoon
◆ Fenugreek seeds powder - 1 / 2 teaspoon
◆ Salt
◆ Ground nut oil - 1 cup
◆ Asofoetida -1 / 2 teaspoon
◆ Turmeric powder

Procedure


(The above mentioned sesame seeds powder, mustard powder, jeera powder and fenugreek seeds powder should be roasted before and then powdered.)

Procedure :

◆ Take a bowl and add raw mango pieces, 1cup of sesame seeds powder, 1 teaspoon of mustard powder, 1 teaspoon of jeera powder, 1 / 2 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds powder,1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, enough salt and mix thoroughly.
◆ Now add 1cup of ground nut oil and mix well.
◆ Now mamidikaya nuvvulu pachadi is ready.keep it aside for 4-5 days and then serve.

* NOTE

◆ This pickle is specially for children as red chilli powder is completely avoided in this.
◆ This pickle remains fresh for 1 month only.,store in fridge to avoid spoilage.
◆ Store in a dry good quality plastic container or glass jars to avoid spoilage
◆ Serving spoons used for pickles should also be dry or else leads to spoilage.
◆ Asofoetida which is added to the above pickle can be avoided if you are not used to it.
◆ Salt should be added a little bit more as it acts as a preservative and avoids spoilage.
