Kobari burelu is a famous traditional recipe in andhra and this process also like arisalu,
◆ Rice - 2 cups
◆ Jaggery - 1cup
◆ Coconut pieces ( not the dried one ) - 1 cup
◆ Oil
◆ cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon
◆ Soak 2 cups of rice in water for 5 hours, drain the water,let it dry on a cloth and then grind in to fine powder.
◆ Now grind the coconut pieces.
◆ Now grind together the above powdered rice,powdered coconut and 1 cup of jaggery in to fine paste (with out adding water).
◆ Now make small balls of cherry size and press with your fingertips in to small puries.
◆ Place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry, now fry the above prepared small puries on both sides till colour changes to light golden colour.
◆ Now crispy kobari burelu are ready, remains fresh for about 1 week.
