Pesarattu | green gram dosa, pesara dosa
◆ Green gram - 2 cups
◆ Rice - 1 cup
◆ Salt
◆ Onions - finely chopped
◆ Green chillies - finely chopped
◆ Coriander leaves -finely chopped
◆ Firstly soak 2 cups of green gram and 1 cup of rice in water for 6 - 7 hours.
◆ Now grind the above soaked green gram in to fine batter by adding water in short intervals,add required salt to the batter.
◆ Place a tava on flame and spread the batter in to round shape,add 1 teaspoon of oil and let it fry.
◆ Now spread finely chopped onions, green chillies and coriander leaves on the dosa.
◆ Now roll the green gram dosa and place it on a plate,serve hot with coconut chutney.
NOTE
● Can also add finely chopped garlic pieces if interested on the dosa along with onions, green chillies and coriander leaves.
◆ Can spread ghee or butter instead of oil on the dosa.
