Alu kurma | Potato Curry | Potato Kurma
Alu Kurma recipe Ingredients:
▪ Potatoes-1/2 Kg
▪ Onions-2
▪ Tomatoes-3
▪ Green chillies-6
▪ Jeera, mustard-1/2 Tablespoon
▪ Coriander leaves
▪ Haldi
▪ Carrot-2
▪ Salt
▪ Oil
(Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles, finely chop onions, tomatoes, carrot and green chillies and keep it aside)
Procedure of Aloo Kurma :
◆ Place a pan on a flame and add 3-4 tablespoons of oil and then jeera, mustard and 1/2 tablespoon of haldi.
◆ Now add the above finely chopped vegetables, green chillies and fry them for 5 minutes.
◆ Mash the potatoes and add to the above fried vegetables , mix thoroughly and add required amounts of salt.
◆ Cook for 5 minutes and put off the flame.
◆Garnish with coriander leaves.
