Madatha peni / sweet puri

Sweet | Madata poori Ingredients:

▪ Rice -1 cup
▪ Maida-2 cups
▪ Bombay Rava-1cup
▪ Sugar-1cup
▪ Butter-1cup
▪ Oil

(Soak rice in water for 2 hours and drain the water, then grind it into fine powder.Grind sugar into fine powder)

Procedure of Sweet Poori Madata poori:

◆ Take a bowl and add 2 cups of maida,1cup of bombay rava and powdered sugar and mix thoroughly.
◆ Add water to it and prepare dough.Let the dough ferment for 1/2 an hour.
◆ Now make small balls of cherry size from the dough and keep aside.
◆ Take a small bowl , add powdered rice 3 tablespoons and 2 tablespoons of plane butter not salted and mix thoroughly to make a fine paste and keep aside.
◆ Now prepare puri and apply the above paste on the puri and fold it into triangle shape and prepare puri, add the paste again and roll it and fold it into a circle and prepare puri.Repeat the process with the remaining puries.
◆ Place a pan on a flame and heat oil, now fry the puries till it changes to golden yellow colour.
◆ To the fried puries, sprinkle sugar powder evenly on both sides.
◆  Now yummy madatha peni are ready.
◆ This sweet can be preserved fresh for 1 week.
