Panasa Tonalu Andhra sweet Recipes in Telugu

Panasa Tonalu Ingredients

▪ Maida -2 cups
▪ Sugar - 1cup
▪ Baking soda -1 pinch
▪ Oil
▪ Ghee - 2 tablespoons

Procedure:

◆ Take a bowl and add 2 cups of maida and 2 tablespoons of ghee and knead in to dough ,let it ferment for 20 minutes.
◆ Now make small balls of cherry size and press in to small circles of puri size and with the help of a knife cut in to vertical lines leaving the sides,then roll from one corner to the end holding the ends of both sides and press at the ends. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
◆ Place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry, fry all the prepared panasa thonalu till it changes in to light golden colour.
◆ Now place a pan and add 1cup of sugar and small half glass of water and boil till it forms thick syrup, (to know that the syrup is done, take a small bowl with water and add syrup, if it forms solid in it then thick syrup is done, if not boil for few more minutes }
◆ Now transfer the above fried panasa thonalu and mix well.
◆ Panasa thonalu are ready now,which remains fresh for 1 week.

NOTE


● Transfer panasa thonalu in installments in the syrup to avoid breakage.
