Capsicim masala curry| Capsicum ka salan


Ingredients 

Capsicum Masala Curry


◆ capsicum -1/2KG
◆ Chopped Onions -1cup
◆ Chopped tomatoes -cup
◆ Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
◆ Coconut pieces -cup (not the dried one)
◆ Whole gram masala (Elaichi,cumin,cinnamon, cloves)
◆ Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
◆ Ginger garlic paste -1 tablespoon
◆ Salt
◆ Turmeric powder
◆ Mirchi powder

(Roast 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon of wholegram masala,now take a jar and transfer the roasted sesame seeds,wholegram masala , 1 cup of coconut pieces, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder and then grind in to fine paste and keep aside }

Procedure

◆ Cut the capsicum in to vertical pieces and keep aside, now place a pan and add 4 tablespoons of oil, half teaspoon of jeera, mustard, i cup of finely chopped onions, fry them for few minutes, then add the above capsicum pieces,a pinch of haldi, 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste and close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
◆ Now add 1cup of finely chopped tomatoes ,enough salt and mirchi powder, mix well and cook for another 10 minutes.
◆ Now add the above prepared paste and mix well, add 250ml of water to get gravy consistency, cook for another 10 minutes.
◆ When the oil spills out, put off the flame and transfer it into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
 Good combination with biryani and all varieties of rotis.
