Onion dosa
◆ Rice -2 cups
◆ Black gram - 1cup
◆ Red chillies - 3
◆ Onions -1cup (Finely chopped )
◆ Oil
(Adding red chillies in the batter will give dosa a fine colour )
◆ Soak 2 cups of rice, 1cup of Bengal gram, 3 red chillies in water for 5 hours and grind in to semi solid batter and keep aside .
◆ Let it ferment for 3-5 hours.
◆ Now place a tava on flame and make dosa,add 1 tablespoon of oil and then add the finely chopped onions, then roll it and serve hot.
◆ Oil on dosa can be replaced by butter or ghee.
◆ Best combination with coconut chutney.
