Chukkakura pachadi, Chukka Kura Chutney


Chukka kura Ingredients


◆ Green sorrel bunches (chukkakura )-4 bunches
◆ Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
◆ Green chillies - 10
◆ Mustard - 1 teaspoon
◆ Jeera - 1 teaspoon
◆ Red chillies - 2
◆ Curry leaves
◆ Black gram - 1 teaspoon
◆ Bengal gram - 1 teaspoon
◆ Turmeric powder
◆ Curry leaves
◆ Salt
◆ Tamarind
◆ Oil


Procedure of Chukkakura chutney |Chukka Kura Pachadi


◆ Firstly cut green sorrel 4 bunches in to small pieces and wash in water.
◆ Now place a pan on flame and roast 2 tablespoons of settsame seeds and grind in to fine powder
◆ Place a wok and add 2 tablespoons of oil, add 1 teaspoon of jeera , and green chillies ,let it cook for 1 minutes.
◆Now add the above washed green sorrel pieces,half teaspoon of turmeric powder, small bit of tamarind and cook for 2 minutes with a lid on it on low flame.
◆ Now put off the flame and let it cool down, then add the above sesame seeds powder and mix well. Add enough salt and grind in to paste.
◆ Now place a pan on flame and add 1 tablespoonof oil, add 1 teaspoon of jeera and mustard,curry leaves and 2 red chillies, let it fry and then add to the above chutney and mix well.
◆ Serve with rice,remains fresh for 3 days.
