Chintakaya pulihora Ingredients


◆ Tamarind -50gms
◆ Cooked Rice - 1 bowl
◆ Green chillies - 5 (split into two pieces )
◆ Red chillies - 4
◆ Turmeric powder
◆ Ground nut - 1 tablespoon
◆ Bengal gram - 1 tablespoon
◆ Black gram - 1 tablespoon
◆ Curry leaves
◆ Jeera - half teaspoon
◆ Fenugreek seeds - 1 / 2 teaspoon
◆ Mustard - 1 teaspoon
◆ Salt
◆ Oil -4 tablespoons

Note
(Roast 1 teaspoon of jeera and 1 / 2 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and grind in to fine powder)

tamarind rice Procedure


◆ Place a pan on flame and pour a small glass of water and add 50gms of tamarind and boil it for 5 minutes.
◆ Let it cool down, then smash them with a spoon or a free hand and then filter the juice separately.
◆ Now place a pan on flame and add 4 tablespoons of oil, then add one tablespoons of ground nut,black gram and bengal gram each.
◆ Now add 4 red chillies, let it fry then add half teaspoon of jeera and mustard seeds,then green chillies, a pinchof turmeric powder and curry leaves.
◆ Now add the above prepared tamarind juice and cook till it becomes thick,add enough salt which is sufficient for rice also.
◆Now add 1 teaspoon of above prepared jeera and fenugreek powder
◆ When the tamarind juice becomes thick,add the above cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
◆ Now tamarind rice is ready to serve hot.
