Bread gulab jamun
◆ Bread slices - 4
◆ Sugar - 1cup
◆ Water - 1cup
◆ Ghee /Dalda - sufficient for deep fry.
◆ Elaichi powder - 1 teaspoon
◆ Milk-1 small cup
◆ Take a bowl and add the bread slices one by one and add milk in small intervals and knead in to dough.
◆ Now place a pan on flame and add 1cup of sugar and 1cup of water,let the sugar melt and boil for 5 minutes,then add 1 teaspoon of elaichi powder and put off the flame.
◆ Now make small balls from the dough prepared above.
◆ Now place a pan on flame and add ghee or dalda for deep fry, now transfer the above prepared balls and fry till the colour changes to golden brown colour.
◆ Now transfer the above fried bread jamuns in the above prepared sugar syrup and keep aside for 30 minutes so that the syrup gets absorbed by the jamuns.
◆ Now serve it as it is or keep in fridge and serve cool.
